Russian Government Plans to Stimulate Purchase of Heat Pumps for Buildings

On October 29, 2021, the Russian government approved its Low Carbon Development Strategy, aiming at 2050, which will provide incentives to equip buildings with heat pumps, along with other installations that use and produce renewable energy such as solar collectors, photovoltaic (PV) panels, wastewater heat recovery units, food waste shredders to process it into biogas, and others.
