Indian Dairy Industry to Grow by 9 to 11% in 2021–2022

The Indian dairy industry is expected to grow by 9 to 11% in financial year 2021–2022, ICRA has said in a report with a stable outlook for the dairy industry over the long term. ICRA is a Moody’s investors service company. Revival in economic activities, increasing per capita consumption of milk and milk products, changing dietary preferences due to rising urbanization, and continued government support to the dairy industry will drive demand, the report added.
