Complex heating and cooling system with I-FH heating, multipipe chillers and industrial free cooling already reduces the hospital’s emissions by over 95 tonnes of CO2 per year

ICS Cool Energy successfully delivered new heating and cooling systems at one of UK’s major hospitals located in eastern England. The project, triggered by the hospital’s decarbonisation initiatives already saves over 95 tonnes of CO2 emissions thanks to the ICS Cool Energy’s free cooling installed to cool the MRI scanners. As the next step, the hospital will install Industrial Free Heating (i-FH) system and multipipe chillers to replace the boiler-based heating installation and further reduce hospital’s carbon emissions.
