According to the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE), Brazil’s GDP fell by 4.1% in 2020. This is the first decline in Brazil’s GDP after three consecutive years of growth and is the country’s most significant annual decline since the country’s GDP fell by 4.3% in 1990.
