Daikin India to Set up Third Manufacturing Facility in Sri City

Daikin India will set up its third manufacturing plant in Sri City, an emerging industrial hub in the southern state of Andhra Pradesh. This expansion is part of the company’s investment proposal for the recently announced Production-Linked Incentive (PLI) scheme for air conditioner components, making it the first Japanese manufacturer to invest under the scheme.
