The Big 5 in Dubai Hosts over 36,000 Global Professionals

The Big 5, the largest event for the construction industry in the Middle East, Africa, and South Asia, was held on September 12 to 15, 2021, at the Dubai World Trade Centre in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) as a face-to-face event for the first time in two years. It is also being staged as an online event that is still open until November 17.

This year’s Big 5 welcomed 36,386 business professionals such as real estate developers, architects, contractors, engineers, consultants, manufacturers, and distributors. Targeting such professional visitors, over 1,200 exhibitors from more than 50 countries, including 20 country pavilions, promoted their latest products and services. Global heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration (HVAC&R) manufacturers and associations also attended the Big 5 offline and/or online and they included the Air-Conditioning, Heating, and Refrigeration Institute (AHRI), Air Movement and Control Association (AMCA), Arkema, Atlantic, Bitwise, Bock, Clivet, Daikin, Ferroli, Intertek, Kirloskar, Kulthorn, Petra, Sauermann Kimo, Schneider Electric, Snowman, Spiro, Testo, and Zamil.
