European Road Freight Rates Increase

Transport Intelligence and Upply published the European Road Freight Rate Benchmark Q2 2021, which showed freight rates are being driven up by rising demand and supply chain disruption. According to the report, the second quarter 2021 European Road Freight Rate benchmark was €1,147 (about US$ 1,360), representing a 3.2% increase year-on-year or 0.4% quarter-on-quarter.
