In the Southeast Asian market in 2020, the gains in the frozen food market and the construction of local vaccine refrigerated transportation infrastructure are the two highlights of the cold chain industry.

Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, the Philippines, Vietnam, Indonesia, and Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) countries have been sorely affected by the spread of the pandemic. All five countries, with the exception of Vietnam, had negative GDP growth in 2020. The growth rates of the six countries are at their lowest in the past 20 years.
