After a recorded peak in 2013, sales of variable refrigerant flow (VRF) systems in Russia declined, but had been gradually recovering since 2015. However, the COVID-19 pandemic had a negative effect on sales in 2020. As a result of the pandemic, in 2020 the Russian VRF market had a weak showing with a year-on-year decrease of about 2%.
