Carrier to Acquire Giwee Group, a Chinese HVAC Manufacturer

On April 19, 2021, Carrier announced that it has signed agreements to acquire Guangdong Gi-wee Group (Giwee Group) and its subsidiaries, including Guangdong Chigo Heating and Ventilation Equipment (GCHV). Giwee Group’s proven strength in the variable refrigerant flow (VRF) and light commercial market in China will expand Carrier’s access to this growing, global market.
