More than 60 years have passed since the production of compressors at Mitsubishi Electric Shizuoka Works started in 1958. Patronized by air conditioner manufacturers, its compressors have been adopted increasingly, not only for RAC/PAC applications, but also for VRF, chiller, heat pump, precision air conditioning, refrigeration, and freezing applications, enabling the company to claim an expanding share of the compressor market.
