Kobe Steel Promotes High Temp. Heat Pumps Chillers in Japan

Kobe Steel has developed the HEM-HR/GN/GL series of high-temperature heat pumps adopting a new refrigerant that features a low environmental impact. This series has a lineup of hot water units supplying hot water at temperatures of 55, 70, 85, and 95ºC. Heat pumps are systems that supply both hot and chilled water simultaneously, mainly in systems used for beverages, foodstuffs, chemical processes, and electronic devices for which alternative chlorofluorocarbons are widely used.
