Italy Introduces Regulations on Environmental Marking of Packaging

On Sept. 11, 2020, the Legislative Decree 11 September 2020 n.116 was published in the Italian Official Gazette, which amended the Legislative Decree 3 April 2006, n. 152 (environmental regulations).The decree made changes to Italian environmental legislation with regard to: the environmental marking of packaging, the circular economy and the extended responsibility of producers for the waste they produce, waste management and transport.
