Carrier is one of the first manufacturers to offer water-cooled chillers and heat pumps operating on the new low Global Warming Potential (GWP) refrigerant R-515B, which provides a number of important benefits for end users. With an A1 safety classification, R-515B is both non-flammable and non-toxic and has a GWP of less than 300, almost half the global warming impact of R-513A, which has a GWP of 573.
