Data on 2019 from AFEC, the Spanish air conditioning equipment manufacturers’ association, show that residential system sales reached over €512 million (US$ 557 million). The residential sector comprised: portable and window units; floor/ceiling/wall units; wall-mounted single-and multi-split units; ducted units; water chillers; fan coils; multitask heat pumps; compact heat pump water heaters; and split-type heat pump water heaters.
