The implementation of China’s new energy efficiency standards for air conditioners has accelerated demand for inverter compressors. In refrigeration year 2020 (RY 2020 ending July 2020), the inverter ratio of rotary compressors increased to 53%. However, in the fields of heat pump water heaters (HPWHs), heat pump dryers, freezing and cold storage, the application ratio of inverter rotary compressors is still very low, and the penetration potential is large.
