Hospitals Can Now Purchase Remdesivir, Extending Logistics Cold Chain Closer to Patients

The US Food and Drug Administrations (FDA) continues to provide guidance regarding the testing, treatment and information on the COVID-19 virus. This recent change as of October 1st, 2020 allows hospitals authorization to purchase the drug Remdesivir, an antiviral that has been used on COVID-19 patients, directly from the drug's distributor.
