Emerson and New Energy Secure Big Heat Pump Project in Hebei

Emerson has teamed up with its partner New Energy to participate in a Coal-to-Electricity heating retrofit project in Zhao County, Hebei Province, which is the largest air-source heat pump (ASHP) centralized heating project in China. In 2019, Zhao County, which is severely affected by air pollution issues, decided to improve the local environment by implementing clean heating in winter, and planned to carry out a clean energy retrofit covering an area of 4.3 million m2.
