Refrigeration Sector Showcases Its Value on World Refrigeration Day in Spain

Under the theme ‘Refrigeration, an essential and sustainable technology’, the second edition of World Refrigeration Day was organized virtually in Spain, with more than 150 attendees. At the event, the essential role of refrigeration technologies within the context of the COVID-19 pandemic was recalled: these technologies pro- vide well-being and peace of mind to consumers in the fields of food and healthcare among others. The representatives of the three organizing associations, AEFYT – the Spanish Association for Refrigeration Technology, AFAR – Andalusian Manufacturers Refrigeration Association, and AFEC, underscored that refrigeration is an essential and environ- mentally responsible technology that provides comfort and security within society.
