During recent years, the subsidy policies implemented by provincial governments have supported the development of China’s ATW heat pump market. However, the ups and downs in subsidies have caused big fluctuations in the market. In 2019, the ATW heat pump industry was back on an ascending track, following a decline in 2018. JARN estimates that the Chinese ATW heat pump market increased by 24.2% in 2019, with a total of 1.02 million units for space heating use.
