Guangdong Restarts Subsidy on Household Electrical Appliances

The Guangdong Province Department of Finance announced on April 27 that the province will allocate RMB 1.78 billion (US$ 252 million) to spur the consumption of automobiles and household electrical appliances in rural areas. It is expected that consumption of RMB 32 billion (US$ 4.5 billion) for automobiles and RMB 9 billion (US$ 1.3 billion) for household electrical appliances will be stimulated by this subsidy.
