At ISH 2019 held in Frankfurt, Germany, Stiebel Eltron presented the first heat pump series that will utilize R454C, an extremely environmentally friendly refrigerant. The series will be launched this year. These heat pumps will have better coefficient of performance (COP) than in the past, meeting the requirements of apartment buildings and the refurbishment market, and for radiator heating systems.  R454C has a GWP of less than 150 and contributes at least 10 times less to the greenhouse effect when released into the atmosphere than current refrigerants.

One is the weather factor, which is how hot days are, and the other is the economic factor, which is whether consumers have the income to buy air conditioners.
