2. Daikin Receives Minnesota Governor’s International Trade Award
On November 7, 2019, Minnesota Governor Tim Walz honored Daikin with a 2019 Governor’s International Trade Award, which recognizes companies that have shown exceptional progress and success in foreign markets. Based in Plymouth, Minnesota, Daikin Applied, the company employs more than 1,700 people in the state, and has invested over $150 million during the past seven years across two factories in Faribault and one in Owatonna, and the global headquarters and test facility in Plymouth.

3. Chigo Heating & Ventilation Equipment Enters Rapid Development Stage
JARN visited the variable refrigerant flow (VRF) production base of Guangdong Chigo Heating and Ventilation Equipment (GCHV) recently. The delegation was received by Zhang Quan, the company’s chairman and general manager. GCHV has achieved rapid development in recent years. The excellent quality of its products has won wide acclaim in the domestic and overseas markets.

5. Panasonic Expands Refrigerated Logistics Business in China
Panasonic has worked with local enterprises to build a huge logistics warehouse for fresh food in Dalian, in addition to promoting nearly 30 projects. The warehouse introduces the mechanism of using the Internet of things (IoT) to control and properly maintain the freshness of perishable food.
