1. Europe Opening up Heat Pump Era – Report on the European Heat Pump Summit 2019
Since its establishment in September 2009 in Nuremberg, the summit has become increasingly global, keeping pace with the growth of the heat pump industry. On its 10th anniversary, the sixth edition of the summit attracted about 260 participants from around 30 countries. Most of the participants were researchers, technicians, product developers, decision-makers, consulting engineers, component manufacturers and suppliers, designers and architects, and operators of heat pumps in industrial and commercial environments.

2. Panasonic Strengthens Its Air Conditioning Business in Vietnam with Its New Training Center
On October 31, 2019, Panasonic Air Conditioning Vietnam (PACVN), a newly established division of Panasonic Vietnam, held an opening ceremony for the first Panasonic Air Conditioning Training Center in Hanoi. Located on the 13th floor of Charmvit Tower on Tran Duy Hung St. in the Cau Giay District, the training center will serve as a hub for business-to-business (B2B) partners to see PACVN’s state-of-the Panasonic art air conditioning technologies and experience its quality Japanese products through various product displays, demonstrations, and training activities.

3. Bitzer Inaugurates New Headquarters
Bitzer has celebrated its 85th anniversary and inaugurated its new headquarters in Sindelfingen, Germany. The new headquarters covers an area of 20,000 m2 and provides up to 500 modern workplaces. A spacious Bitzer Showroom displays the company’s history, along with its present and future vision using a variety of media. Visitors can take guided tours and get acquainted with the products, their applications, and other services in a hands-on and digital format.

4. ISK-SODEX Opens up New Export Opportunities for Turkish HVAC&R Industry
This year, ISK-SODEX brought together more than 1,000 brands from 35 countries, primarily from Germany, China, France, India, Italy, South Korea, Thailand, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Lebanon, Pakistan, Spain, Iran, Russia, Greece, the United States, Taiwan, and Japan. They showcased all HVAC&R industry innovations focusing on future technologies for more than 85,000 visitors from 107 countries with a greater number of overseas visitors.

5. Highly Expands Fast in the Heat Pump Market
On August 1, the 2019 China Heat Pump Industry Annual Conference and the 10th anniversary of the China Heat Pump Association (CHPA) were held on a grand scale in Shanghai. On this occasion, JARN interviewed Ji Shengchang, general manager of Highly emerging business division, to hear about the company’s business performance in the global market.
