Heat Pump Sales Soar in France

PAC&Clim’Info has provided figures showing that sales of air-to-water (ATW) and air-to-air (ATA) heat pumps exploded in France during the first eight months of 2019.
Driven by the French government’s policy promoting the phase-out of residential heating systems operating on domestic fuel announced early in 2019, sales of ATW heat pumps rose 70% during the period spanning January to August compared with the same period in 2018. Sales are expected to reach over 100,000 units by the end of 2019.
