1. Fan Motors and Instrumentation – The Latest Trends
Brushless DC (BLDC) motors apply the variable speed control compressor technology used for inverter air conditioners and used as fan motors in the indoor and outdoor units of air conditioners. According to a report from a Japanese research company, Fuji Keizai, in October 2018, the total number of small motors in the world was about 6.6 billion units in 2018. Of them, fan motors were estimated to have reached about 2.2 billion units while brushless DC (BLDC) motors amounted to about 1 billion units, and this figure is expected to approach 1.2 billion units in 2025.

2. Daikin Adopts R32 for Key HVAC Products in North America
On September 26, 2019, Daikin companies in North America announced they are developing ducted and ductless residential, light commercial, and applied products utilizing R32 refrigerant. Based on comprehensive evaluation and testing, Daikin concluded R32 is the ideal low-GWP alternative to R410A for many key residential, light commercial, and applied products in North America.

3. Systemair to Provide Next Generation Indoor Climate Solutions
During the ground-breaking ceremony of the Swedish pavilion at the Expo 2020 site in Dubai, UAE, the Systemair Group, as an official sponsor, has introduced the air conditioning and ventilation solutions it is going to provide for the building named “The Forest”. In line with the Expo’s theme “Connecting Minds, Creating the Future”, the HVAC system will see state-of-the-art engineering, digital control solutions, and sensor technologies. Systemair is emphasizing energy efficiency and a healthy indoor air quality (IAQ).

4. BROAD Is Committed to Environmental Protection
BROAD Group is a private enterprise in China dedicated to original innovation. Its subsidiary company BROAD Air conditioning is a pioneer in the field of absorption heat pumps manufactured for the global market. 5. Asian AC Manufacturers Participate in IFA in Germany
From September 6 to 11 in Berlin, Germany, IFA 2019 hosted more innovation and product launches than any previous event. It also presented more digital lifestyle products in one place than any other show worldwide. IFA Berlin was another huge success story with nearly 2,000 exhibitors, 245,000 visitors. Three big technology trends dominated IFA: voice, artificial intelligence (AI), and connectivity, were featured across both consumer electronics and home appliances. These trends are especially apparent given the rapid roll-out of high-speed, high bandwidth fifth generation (5G) mobile networks.
