In recent years, Japanese air conditioning manufacturers have achieved high profits. Utilizing their profits, they are further raising investments in research and development (R&D) facilities to gain additional market advantages. Manufacturers are building R&D bases in major global markets such as Europe, China, and Thailand and other Southeast Asian countries in addition to their domestic bases in Japan. At these bases, they are securing the world’s top-class talents to accelerate the development of products suited to the climate of each region and the latest technologies, among others.
