Chinese AC Manufacturers Accelerate Factory Construction in Southeast Asia

Recently, two well-known Chinese air conditioner manufacturers announced that they have built new production bases in Southeast Asia to speed up their development in overseas markets. TCL, a large air conditioner brand located in southern China, recently built a production base with its partner in Indonesia. The new factory will have an annual production capacity of 1.5 million air conditioners in Phase 1 and officially begin mass production at the end of September 2019. In addition, TCL plans to build production bases in other foreign countries in the near future. See page 18.
