TfL Cenex report finds there is a need for more stringent emissions testing for auxiliary engine transport refrigeration units entering London

In April Transport for London (TfL) introduced an Ultra-Low Emission Zone (ULEZ), the intention is to lower the effects of harmful exhaust pollutants (NOx and PM) and improve air quality in London. London already had a non-charging low emission zone (LEZ) covering most of Greater London, but tighter emission standards were introduced for Central London with the ULEZ.
