Recently, the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) increased the charging limit of A3 refrigerants for commercial refrigeration equipment from 150 to 500g, and increased the charging limits of the lower flammable (A2) and mildly flammable (A2L) refrigerants from 150 to 1,200g.
