ATW Heat Pumps Benefit from Phase-out of Domestic Fuel

According to Génie Climatique Magazine, the French government’s incentives designed to promote heating systems using renewable energy and to phase-out domestic fuel-burning boilers are spurring sales of air-to-water (ATW) heat pumps.The incentives designed to replace fuel-burning boilers with biomass-fired boilers, hybrid heat pumps, solar-assisted heating systems, district heating or ATW or water-source heat pumps kicked in as of January 2019.
