Gist adds Schmitz telematics

Basingstoke, Hampshire, UK: Gist has retrofitted 120 reefers with Schmitz Cargobull’s TrailerConnect telematics turning each one into a ‘smart’ trailer so the operator can proactively monitor its performance on the road.
 
Gist already operates 54 Schmitz Cargobull units factory-fitted with the system and upgraded the rest of the fleet with TrailerConnect to extend the depth of data delivered by the smart trailers.
