Danfoss Acquires Remaining Shares in Leanheat

Danfoss has acquired the Finnish startup company Leanheat specialized in the optimization of heating in centrally heated buildings by using artificial intelligence (AI) and sensors. The acquisition will enable Danfoss to further strengthen its position in the global market for multi-family houses and district heating systems. Leanheat is a fast-growing company, and at the end of 2018, the company’s solution had been installed in 100,000 apartments globally.
