Dorin Case Study: Low-Temp Application

2019-04-07
Carbon dioxide (R744 – CO2), due to its benign environmental characteristics and favorable thermodynamic features, is considered a global alternative to hydrofluorocarbons (HFCs) such as R404A and R507, hydro- chlorofluorocarbons (HCFCs) such as R22 as well as ammonia (NH3), for numerous applications.
This particular case study emphasizes how CO2 performs well and safely in industrial refrigeration contexts.
