Indian Government Supports Global Cooling Prize

A global coalition led by CEPT University located in Ahmedabad, India, Rocky Mountain Institute (RMI), Conservation X Labs, and Alliance for an Energy Efficient Economy (AEEE) has launched the Global Cooling Prize with the objective of catalyzing the development of a cooling technology with at least five times less climate impact than today’s standard technology, considering both energy and refrigerant impacts.
