Chigo HVAC Applying R32 to Mono-Split and Multi-Split ACs
2019-01-30
Compared with the mainstream R410A, R32 has the same ozone depletion potential (ODP) of 0, but approximately one-third of the global warming potential (GWP) of R410A. R32 requires a lower refrigerant charge, about 71% of that of R410A. In terms of theoretical cycle performance, the cooling capacity of an R32 system is 12.6% higher than that of an R410A system, and overall energy savings of 4.3% are achieved.
