In 2017, the Spanish gross domestic product (GDP) increased to 3.1%, above the overall GDP of 2.5% in the euro zone. The trend was also expected to be positive at the end of 2018, thanks to the favorable development of most Spanish economic parameters, with steady upward trends every month.
