China’s RAC Exports Expected to Shrink in RY 2019

China’s exports of room air conditioners (RACs) indicated 10.6% growth in refrigeration year 2017 (RY ending August 2017), and have maintained a continuous increase in RY 2018 with nearly 10% growth. RAC exports from China have seen growth in volume, value, and the average price of units. In calendar year 2018, fluctuation of the Chinese yuan has brought more challenges to exporters in China.
