The major European chiller markets are seeing an improvement in 2018 compared with 2017, with one exception – the United Kingdom, due to uncertainties over Brexit, which is stalling decision-making regarding a significant number of construction projects. The Ecodesign for Energyrelated Products (ErP) Directive is raising demand for more energy-efficient equipment, and in some countries this has resulted in a noticeable spike in demand for inverter chillers.
