1. Regal’s NovaMAX Motor Wins Product of the Year Program
On September 16, 2018, Regal Beloit announced that the NovaMAX EC permanent magnet motor has been recognized by Consulting-Specifying Engineer in its 2018 Product of the Year program within the drives, pumps and motors category. “We are excited to have the NovaMAX EC permanent magnet motor achieve gold-level status,” said Howard Richardson, business leader, Regal Beloit America. “Our goal is to always provide our customers with the best, most efficient products possible. It’s great to have some recognition to put behind that.”

2. ABRAVA Renews Agreement with Apex-Brasil for Export Program
The ABRAVA Export Program aims to introduce Brazilian companies to the international HVAC&R market. For this purpose, the program executes promotional actions such as participation in overseas fairs, buyer projects, international marketing, overseas commercial missions, prospective visits, and economic intelligence actions that provide information leading to competitive approaches in international markets. The combined export value of the companies participating in the program reached about US$ 415 million in 2017, a 22.5% increase compared with 2016. The program aims to achieve an increase of around 25% in 2018.

3. LU-VE Group Record Sales and EBITDA in First Half of 2018
On September 25, 2018, at the closing of the Board of Directors meeting, LU-VE Group announced 2018 first-half financial results. Iginio Liberali, president of LUVE Group declared: “We recorded an excellent first half of 2018: important growth with positive results. This sets the stage for an equally good result at the end of the year. In the medium term, the acquisition of Zyklus in the United States provides new prospects for further growth and development, both in terms of geographical areas and markets”.

4. Highly Announces Development of 20-hp to 25hp Rotary Compressors at User Conference
On September 28, the Highly global user conference for refrigeration year 2019 (RY, end of August 2019) was successfully held in Wanning, Hainan. A total of nearly 100 guests from all over the world, well-known experts, scholars, and the media attended the conference. At this event, Highly Announced the development of 20-hp to 25-hp rotary compressors in 2019 in order to achieve a breakthrough in the capacity of light commercial compressors.

5. Johnson Controls-Hitachi Air Conditioning Improves Frost Wash
On August 28, Johnson ControlsHitachi Air Conditioning held a press conference to announce the company’s new Shirokuma-kun Premium X series room air conditioners (RACs). The new products have newly incorporated a ‘Frost Wash Fan Robo’ function that can automatically remove dirt on a heat exchanger and dust on a fan.
