Thermocool Awards Import Substitution Priority-2017

Thermocool developed and manufactured liquid chillers, which are short listed for the National Prize in the Import Substitution Priority- 2017 as the nomination Priority-Equipment.

The units were produced for the No. 4 Refrigeration Center of the Skolkovo Innovation Center, which offers services to the Skolkovo Institute of Science and Technology (Skoltech). The automatic concept is implemented in the Center, so the constant presence of personnel is not required to maintain its operation. The project makes it possible to send data on the regime and alarm signals concerning all engineering systems to a central dispatch point.

To ensure uninterrupted cooling, Thermocool manufactured five chillers with a total capacity of 2.56 MW, incorporating four 650 kW Bitzer compressors for each system.

Remote air cooling condensers with a reduced noise level are used to re-move heat. All chillers can be operated at ambient temperatures down to –40ºC.
 
On November 17, 2017, the awarding ceremony for the winners of the prize was held at the Congress Center of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry. In the solemn atmosphere, Thermocool was awarded the nominee diploma, confirming the uniqueness and complexity of the development and implementation of the chillers for Skoltech.
