For the Indian compressor market, 2017 was a mixed year. Channel sales continued to be adversely impacted due to the demonetization of high value currency notes announced in November 2016, aggravated by the teething troubles in implementing the Goods and Services Tax (GST) introduced on July 1, 2017.
