1. Panasonic France Announces Launching of CO2 Refrigeration Systems
During the Interclima+elec exhibition held from November 7 to 10 in France, the company announced the launching of CO2 refrigeration units. Panasonic’s new CO2 refrigeration units can operate at temperatures ranging from -25°C to +43°C, and are designed for convenience stores, small supermarkets, service stations, fast food outlets, industrial kitchens, and other industrial sectors requiring refrigeration.

2. Daikin North America Launched New VRV Residential System
Daikin North America has announced the launch of the new variable refrigerant volume (VRV) Residential system, designed specifically for residential applications, whether single family, townhomes or con-dominium due to its very compact outdoor unit style. This latest VRV Residential offering includes a ducted style furnace and evaporator coil system combination commonly applied throughout North America.

3. ISHRAE Gears up for the 19th ACREX India
The Indian Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air Conditioning Engineers (ISHRAE) is gearing up for the 19th ACREX India that will be held February 22 to 24, 2018 at BIEC, Bangalore. This edition of ACREX India promises to venture into exciting themes like sustainability, green buildings, ecofriendly innovations, and carbon neutrality while expecting more than 600 exhibitors and participation from major global players across 30 countries.

4. Gree Opens New Showroom and Training Center in Chicago
On October 7, Gree’s second show-room and training center in the United States opened in downtown Chicago. The Ultra Heat series air conditioner was the highlight of the ceremony. Its performance at super-low ambient temperatures has been verified by UL. Months ago, UL issued the world’s first Solar GMV (VRF) certificate to Gree for the reliable performance under super low ambient temperatures.

5. High-end ACs Becoming Popular in China
The upgrading of Chinese people’s consumption habits could further accelerate the supply-side reform of air conditioning products. Smart and energy-efficient products will become hot spots in the market. From January to September 2017, the retail sales volume of products with the highest energy efficiency increased by 79.2% year on year, the fastest growth rate among air conditioners with other attractive selling features such as intelligence and stylish appearance.
