2. Chinese Products Appeal to Foreign Buyers at Canton Fair
The 122nd China Import and Export Trade Fair (Canton Fair) was held in Guangzhou, China. During Phase 1 of this fair for electronics and household electrical appliances, held from October 15 to 19, Chinese leading home appliance manufacturers exhibited their products and highlighted the product’s best features for foreign buyers.

3. LG Smart Ecosystem Solution for Home of the Future
LG is expanding its smart capabilities to the commercial sector with the installation of an integrated smart solutions package in a premium apartment complex in a suburb of Seoul. The apartments will feature LG’s top-of- the-line smart appliances including system air conditioners, refrigerators, washing machines, dryers, dishwashers, and Styler garment care systems.

4. Association of Home Appliance Manufacturers (AHAM) Asks Congress to Strengthen Energy Star
The House of Representatives is currently considering the Energy Star Reform Act, which would permanently transfer Energy Star for home appliances back to DOE and make other key changes to make the program stronger for consumers and manufacturers.

5. Yanmar GHP ACs Reach Cumulative Sales of 300,000 Units
As of November 2017, Yanmar Energy System achieved cumulative sales of 300,000 units of gas engine-driven heat pump (GHP) air conditioners, the company’s main product, since 1987, when the company entered the gas engine-driven air conditioner market on a full scale.
