China Actively Implements Ozone Layer Protection Protocol

China has always attached great importance to the protection of the ozone layer since the signing of the Montreal Protocol in 1991. In 2007, China completed the phase-out of chlorofluorocarbons (CFCs) and halons, two and a half years ahead of the Montreal Protocol schedule.
