Hapag Lloyd orders 7,700 reefer containers

Hapag-Lloyd is buying 7,700 new reefer containers in response to a surge in demand for cold chain shipping services following its merger with United Arab Shipping Company. A 1,000 of boxes will have controlled-atmosphere technology to slow the ripening of various fruit and vegetables.
