1. World Refrigeration Equipment Market in 2016
JARN estimates that the global refrigeration market value in 2016 reached US$ 92 billion including services such as installation and maintenance, showing an increase of about 2.2% compared with 2015. Of the total, commercial applications recorded US$ 58.1 billion, industrial applications amounted to US$ 28.7 billion, and transportation amounted to US$ 5.2 billion.

2. Asada LD316C Able to Detect Refrigerant Leak at -30oC
Asada, located in Nagoya, Japan, a plumbing and HVAC&R (including Gas Leakage Detection) equipment manufacturer has launched its new infrared (IR) refrigerant leak detector LD316C, which is, according to Asada, the world’s first IR refrigerant leak detector with an operating temperature range of -30 to 50°C.
