Government Clears US$ 930 Million Scheme for Food Processing Sector

The central government has approved a new INR 60 billion (US$ 930 million) Scheme for Agro-Marine Processing and Development of Agro -Processing Clusters (SAMPADA) for 2016-2020 with the aim of boosting both marine and agriculture produce processing.
