2. Bangkok RHVAC 2017 -- Eco Innovation for Sustainable Future
The 11th Bangkok Refrigeration Heating Ventilation and Air-Conditioning 2017 (Bangkok RHVAC 2017) will be held from September 7 to 10 at BITEC Bangna, Bangkok, Thailand. In a nearly 21,000 m2 exhibit area, 260 companies are expected to set up about 900 booths to exhibit their latest HVAC&R equipment and components for about 10,000 visitors from around the world.

3. Emerson Opens Additive Manufacturing Center in Singapore
Emerson opened an advanced additive manufacturing center at its Singapore campus. This is Emerson’s second location to have additive manufacturing capabilities (making 3D objects from a digital model).
Through this center, Emerson will be using additive manufacturing technologies to produce special customized and application specific parts and products which are impossible with traditional technology.

4. ENGIE Refrigeration -- Successful in the World, at Home in Lindau
ENGIE Refrigeration is a specialist for energy-efficient refrigeration and heat recovery based in Lindau at Lake Constance, Germany. JARN spoke with Managing Director Jochen Hornung about the company’s goals, plans, and low Global Warming Potential (GWP) refrigerants.

5. GMCC Completes 70 Millionth Compressor in Its Wuhu Factory
On March 29, Guangdong Meizhi Compressor Company (GMCC) successfully rolled its 70 millionth compressor off of the production line at the Wuhu factory. The GMCC Wuhu factory was put into service in October 2011 with a total investment of RMB 3 billion (US$ 436 million). It took three years for the GMCC Wuhu factory to produce 30 million compressors, and the accumulated production increased to 70 million after only two and a half additional years.
