1. Gas & Electricity Hybrid ACs Rolling out in the Japanese Market
On April 1, 2017, Japanese air conditioner manufacturers have announced to release new Smart Multi hybrid air conditioners utilizing gas and electricity.  Consisting of a gas heat pump (GHP) and an electric heat pump (EHP) linked to the same refrigerant piping system, Smart Multi systems can realize both energy and cost savings by remotely controlling the GHP and EHP operating ratios to optimize the equipment efficiency and running costs according to changes in the air conditioning load, outdoor temper.

2. Latest Trends in Global Environmental Regulations
Regulations relating to environmental issues include refrigerant regulations and energy-saving regulations as well as environmental regulations, such as hazardous substances regulations and recycling regulations. And if history is any indication, regulations and policies that are first adopted by the remarkably environmentally conscious European Union (EU) are either completely or at least partially incorporated by other regions.

3. HVAC&R Manufacturers Showcase Their Leading-edge Technologies at ISH
ISH, the world’s leading trade fair in the combined fields of water and energy, has once again demonstrated its significance for visitors and exhibitors. From March 14 to 18, 2,482 exhibitors from 61 countries, including all world-market leaders, launched their latest products onto the world market during ISH, featuring an exhibition area of 260,000 m2, in Frankfurt am Main, Germany.

Sapa will organize Training Academy for free on May 18 at Radisson Blu Scandinavia Hotel in Dusseldorf, Germany.
